Terms & Conditions
The rules of the road for using our website, submitting grant applications, making donations, and participating in A2P programs — written in plain language.
Summary: By using this website you agree to these terms. We grant information, receive donations, and award grants — all on a good-faith, lawful basis. We are not liable for third-party content and provide this site "as is." Maryland law governs all disputes.
About Access 2 Play

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or submit any information through it.
If you are submitting information on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Donations
Tax-Deductibility
Access 2 Play, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations made to A2P are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a written acknowledgment of your gift for tax purposes. We recommend consulting a tax advisor regarding your specific circumstances.
No Refund Policy
All donations to Access 2 Play are voluntary and non-refundable unless a demonstrable processing error occurred (e.g., a duplicate charge or incorrect amount). To report a processing error, contact donations@access2play.org within 30 days of the transaction.
Gift Designation
Donors may designate gifts to specific programs (e.g., Youth Athlete Grants, NIL Education). A2P will honor designations to the extent operationally feasible. In the event a designated program is discontinued or fully funded, we reserve the right to redirect gifts to our General Fund in a manner consistent with donor intent. We will notify affected donors before redirecting significant gifts.
Recurring Gifts
Monthly recurring gifts will be charged to your payment method on the same date each month. You may cancel a recurring gift at any time by contacting donations@access2play.org at least 5 business days before the next scheduled charge.
Payment Security
Payment processing is handled by third-party processors who maintain their own security standards. A2P does not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other payment credentials on our servers.
Grant Applications
No Guarantee of Funding
Submission of a grant application does not guarantee the award of funding. All applications are reviewed at the sole discretion of the A2P grant committee based on eligibility criteria, available funds, and program priorities.
Accuracy of Information
Applicants must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information. Submission of false, misleading, or fraudulent information — including misrepresentation of household income, athlete participation, or funding need — will result in immediate disqualification and may require repayment of any funds already disbursed.
Grant Decisions
Grant decisions are final. A2P does not have a formal appeals process. Unsuccessful applicants may reapply in a subsequent grant cycle. A2P will communicate decisions by email to the address provided in the application.
Use of Funds
Approved grants are disbursed directly to the program, club, league, or equipment vendor identified in the application — not to individual families. Funds must be used for the stated purpose within the grant period. See our Club Partner Terms for program partner obligations.
Audit Rights
A2P reserves the right to verify the use of grant funds and to request documentation from recipients. Misuse of grant funds will result in recovery of the disbursed amount and permanent disqualification from future grants.
Volunteer & Event Participation
Participation in A2P programs, clinics, camps, and events is subject to additional terms including:
- The Coach & Volunteer Code of Conduct
- The Participant Waiver & Liability Release (required before physical activity)
- Any venue-specific rules and safety requirements
A2P reserves the right to remove any volunteer, coach, or participant from a program or event at any time for conduct that violates our Code of Conduct, endangers others, or is otherwise inconsistent with our mission.
User-Submitted Content
When you submit content to A2P — including grant application descriptions, contact form messages, volunteer application essays, or any other written submissions — you grant A2P a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, store, and reference that content for organizational purposes.
You represent that any content you submit: (a) is accurate and truthful; (b) does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; (c) does not contain harmful, defamatory, or illegal material.
A2P does not publicly display user-submitted content without explicit permission, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.
